Miss Winkles Pet of the Week of July 25: Izzy
She can take her own selfies! Well, not all by herself, but she did a pretty good job of making sure the camera was angled to capture her beautiful face. This kitty is Izzy, a very soft, densely-coated Domestic Short Hair blend. She’s about 2 years old and makes being a diva look good.
Izzy likes to be the center of attention and knows how to be an “attention grabber” with her cute meows, gorgeous eyes and sweet demeanor. Izzy loves to have her cheeks petted best of all, and boy, is she good at wrapping herself around your legs and begging for some love and affection. Izzy likes kids, as well, and would thrive if given the opportunity to live with a big family all her own.
Miss Winkles Pet Adoption Center is open from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Tuesday through Sunday at 85 Temperance Ave. just south of Sierra Avenue. All adoptable pets have been spayed or neutered, are current on their vaccinations and microchipped.
Adoption fees are $25 for dogs, cats, kittens and puppies.
