Miss Winkles Pet of the Week of July 11: Copper
Wahoo! It sure is fun to run and play with Copper. He’s a Jack Russell Terrier blend who has longer legs than most and the cutest flopped ears. Copper is a high-energy type of guy who is looking for a friend to play with. This guy likes to fetch his toys (though running with them is sometimes more fun than bringing them back) and he’s made a few canine buddies to play keep-away with him, as well. Copper has made a lot of friends during his stay at Miss Winkles and currently lives with some other pups. He can get quite snuggly with them at nap time.
Copper is about a year old and would make a great walking companion. He enjoys kids, too, and has shown that he particularly likes energetic youngsters willing to throw a ball or play chase with him in the yard. Copper is used to life both inside and outside and is looking for a home where he can be a part of both worlds. If you’re looking for a sweet boy, with a little bit of training under his belt and a go-get-‘em outlook on life, Copper is a great pup to check out!
Miss Winkles Pet Adoption Center is open from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Tuesday through Sunday at 85 Temperance Ave. just south of Sierra Avenue. All adoptable pets have been spayed or neutered, are current on their vaccinations and microchipped.
Adoption fees are $25 for dogs, cats, kittens and puppies.
Note: the Pet of the Week may no longer be available after press time, but plenty of other adoptable pets are. Visit clovisanimalservices.org/miss-winkles for more information.
