Miss Winkles Pet of the Week of June 13: Ruby
Ruby, the Dachshund/terrier mix likes to take it easy on these sunny days. Ruby is about 4 years old and she has been having a blast at the adoption center. When she’s not relaxing on the bed with her furry canine buddies, she enjoys playing fetch in the yard. She doesn’t just chase that ball down, however, she likes to hold onto it while giving herself a back scratch in the grass, too. Her floppy ears and gentle personality make her a fun pet for kids, and, boy, does she enjoy their attention!
Ruby is ready to make a new start with anyone willing to give her some love, some walks and maybe play the occasional game of fetch. Ruby does enjoy other dogs and is always given a furry friend to spend her days with at Miss Winkles. Sharing her home with another furry buddy would be a big bonus for Ruby.
Miss Winkles Pet Adoption Center is open from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Tuesday through Sunday at 85 Temperance Ave. just south of Sierra Avenue. All adoptable pets have been spayed or neutered, are current on their vaccinations and microchipped.
Adoption fees are $25 for dogs, cats, kittens and puppies.
Note: the Pet of the Week may no longer be available after press time, but plenty of other adoptable pets are. Visit clovisanimalservices.org/miss-winkles for more information.
