Jolly Times at Clovis Senior Activity Center
Once upon a time there were no senior services and few activities for Clovis’ older citizens. To remedy that, a group of seniors formed a club in 1968 called the Jolly Times Seniors, which met and shared sack lunches. The group has grown and members meet once a month at Clovis Senior Activity Center to enjoy lunch, entertainment, dancing and one another’s company.
The Kiwanis of Old Town Clovis now serve a lunch to nearly 100 Jolly Times Seniors every second Thursday of the month.
