Miss Winkles Pet of the Week of Jan. 11: Bambi
She’s a spritely little thing, and her name is Bambi. As a Chihuahua blend, she will stay small, and she’s about six months old.
Bambi is outgoing and courageous, the first to the food bowl and the first to climb her way into a lap or a heart.
There’s an adorable curl to her tail, and that tail never stops waggin’. She’s friends with everyone from the youngest person to an adult and she’s an outrageous wiggler when she’s happy, which is all the time!
Bambi is looking to take on an active family all her own so that she can share her love of life. She doesn’t mind if that family has other dogs, her point of view – the more, the merrier! As a glass-half-full girl, Bambi knows how to keep us all smiling.
Miss Winkles Pet Adoption Center is open from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Tuesday through Sunday at 85 Temperance Ave. just south of Sierra Avenue. All adoptable pets have been spayed or neutered, are current on their vaccinations and microchipped.
Adoption fees are $25 for dogs, cats, kittens and puppies.
Note: the Pet of the Week may no longer be available after press time, but plenty of other adoptable pets are. Visit clovisanimalservices.org/miss-winkles for more information.
