Miss Winkles Pet of the Week of Jan. 4: Princess
Princess is a young pit bull blend who is looking for a family that will help her bloom in full. She has been at Miss Winkles for a few months now, and has come a long way. Originally, she was very standoffish and timid; now, she is outgoing and loves to give kisses. It may take her a few visits to warm up to men, but once she does, she’s 100 percent loyal.
This sweet girl is about two and a-half years young and has a tendency to greet everyone with a big smile. She’s great at playing with others, though she can sometimes be picky about who she adds to her “friends list.”
It appears that her adoration of tennis balls is unparalleled, and her sleek figure lends itself to fast and aerodynamic playtime. Princess is potty-trained and would love the opportunity to share the couch with you. Come by and meet this wonderful and beautiful girl today!
Miss Winkles Pet Adoption Center is open from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Tuesday through Sunday at 85 Temperance Ave. just south of Sierra Avenue. All adoptable pets have been spayed or neutered, are current on their vaccinations and microchipped.
Adoption fees are $25 for dogs, cats, kittens and puppies. Note that the Pet of the Week may no longer be available after press time, but plenty of other adoptable pets are. Visit clovisanimalservices.org/miss-winkles for more information.
