Pet of the Week
Miss Winkles Pet Of The Week: Alek
Big Alek is looking for a lap to snuggle in! He is a pit-boxer blend, a little over 2 1/2 years of age and is a great, big, loveable teddy bear of a dog. He loves to play outside and roughhouse with other dogs his size and he will carry his toys about the yard like they are his prizes. Alek was previously adopted to a home, but was returned to us recently because his owner had to relocate and was unable to take him with her. This big boy is super loving, has a smile that stretches for days and will help keep you company wherever you go. Give him a chance to share the couch and he will make full use of that offer. Come by and meet this sweet boy today!
Miss Winkles Pet Adoption Center is open from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Tuesday through Sunday at 85 Temperance Ave. just south of Sierra Avenue. All adoptable pets have been spayed or neutered, are current on their vaccinations and microchipped. Adoption fees are $25 for dogs, cats, kittens and puppies. Note that the Pet of the Week may no longer be available after press time, but plenty of other adoptable pets are. Visit clovisanimalservices.org/miss-winkles for more information.
