Clovis Community College secures $2.6 million grant

Clovis Community College secured a five-year grant worth more than $2.6 million from the U.S. Department of Education Title V grant program. The school will receive $525,000 each year to help pay for student services programs such as on-line tutoring services; library subscription databases and research software programs; and technology resources.

Student success is key at Clovis Community College and the support service components of the grant will allow the college to offer additional technological resources to students, such as on-line academic advising and progress tracking; and short-term summer boot camp courses.

This grant will develop a comprehensive support program for at-risk and low-income students by creating pathways to timely degree completion. In addition, increased student support services and library technology resources will provide additional opportunities for student success.
