Miss Winkles Pet of the Week

No worries about drought for this pit bull blend! Nellie can make even a pool without water full of fun! When given the chance, she rolls in the “ball pit” and makes everyone smile. Nellie is five years young and is looking for a family with an indoor/outdoor policy, as she will jump at any chance to roll in the grass.

Sweet Nellie can also make quite the messy masterpiece of herself in mud puddles, but don’t worry about the cleanup; baths are one of her favorite things! She adores kids and has learned to thoroughly enjoy play groups with all sorts of large breed dogs.

Nellie isn’t ready for a home with cats or small dogs just yet, but would love a large canine sibling to spend her days with. Nellie loves to nestle in the lap of luxury and sleep on padded beds (she has her very own bed here at Miss Winkles). This girl is an all-around sweetheart and is much loved by staff and volunteers alike. She’d love to have more adoring visitors, so stop on by!
