Clovis Sports Cards & Collectibles owner Brad Stoops holds a National Geographic magazine featuring a story about a tintype believed to be only the second photo discovered of infamous outlaw Billy the Kid. Local collector Randy Guijarro purchased the photo in Fresno in 2010 for 88 cents, Stoops said. If its authenticity if proven, it could be worth more than $3 million, he said. A two-hour special investigating the photo, “Billy the Kid: New Evidence” narrated by Kevin Costner, will premiere Sunday, Oct. 18 at 9 p.m. on National Geographic Channel.
