Fresno twins, Ford dealers team up to collect blankets for Turkey earthquake victims

Twin Fresno teens and Ford dealerships in the central San Joaquin Valley are asking people to donate blankets today for earthquake victims in Turkey.

Blankets can be dropped off at any Ford dealership from Merced to Tulare, said Katrina Martin.

Martin, 19, and sister, Italia Martin, are coordinating the blanket drive. The twins, founders of California Republican Youth, will ship the blankets Wednesday. An anonymous donor has volunteered to pay for the shipping, Katrina Martin said.

Future Ford at Shaw Avenue and Highway 168 in Clovis will accept blankets for the earthquake victims throughout this weekend, Martin said.
