Miss Winkles Pet of the Week of May 15: Clementine
Are you looking for a sprightly dog to keep you company? Clementine is a cheerful little Chihuahua/terrier blend with the spice of life ingrained in her every step!
She’s only about a year old, so while she is full grown, she’s got plenty of learning left to do in life. Clementine is a unique little dog who loves to choose the biggest dog in playgroup to play with. Her favorite play pal was a little Shepherd mix named Krissy. She would chase Krissy and wrestle with her, and even followed her over to the kiddie pool to get their paws wet.
While Clementine is an active and playful little girl, she’s going to need an owner who can take the time and be patient, as she can be a little scared of new people. It takes her some time to warm up, so Clementine needs an adults-only home where she can blossom and learn the joys of life. Dogs though, those are easy for her, and she would love to have a canine companion to pal around with, no matter the size!
Miss Winkles Pet Adoption Center is open from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Tuesday through Sunday at 85 Temperance Ave. just south of Sierra Avenue. All adoptable pets have been spayed or neutered, are current on their vaccinations and microchipped.
Adoption fees are $25 for dogs, cats, kittens and puppies.
Note: the Pet of the Week may no longer be available after press time, but plenty of other adoptable pets are. Visit clovisanimalservices.org/miss-winkles for more information.
