Mickey Cox Elementary students delivered more than 3,000 food items to Ronald McDonald House in Madera on Feb. 8 after a week-long Souper Bowl Food Drive. The top donating classes — Mrs. Ratliff’s first grade class and Mr. Filippi’s fifth/sixth grade combo class — recieved “Souper Bowl Rings” in the form of a Ring Pop and the annual drive’s perpetual trophies will be displayed in the winning classrooms until next year.
