Souper Bowl success: Mickey Cox Elementary students donate to Ronald McDonald House

Students from Mickey Cox Elementary delivered more than 3,000 donated food items to Ronald McDonald House last week. Mickey Cox Elementary students delivered more than 3,000 food items to Ronald McDonald House in Madera on Feb. 8 after a week-long Souper Bowl Food Drive. The top donating classes — Mrs. Ratliff’s first grade class and Mr. Filippi’s fifth/sixth grade combo class — recieved “Souper Bowl Rings” in the form of a Ring Pop and the annual drive’s perpetual trophies will be displayed in the winning classrooms until next year.
