Out & About: 144th Fighter Wing Welcome Home Party at Clovis Veterans Memorial District

Clovis veterans groups welcomed back the members of the 144th Fighter Wing of the California Air National Guard who were deployed for about four months for Operation Atlantic Resolve in eastern Europe. The Nov. 13 welcome home party for the military members and their families was hosted by Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 3225 at Clovis Veterans Memorial District.

Members of American Legion Post 147 and Clovis East High School’s ROTC helped with the event, which featured food from local restaurants, face painting and speeches from those who deployed — and those who supported their family member on the home front.
