Miss Winkle Pet of the Week of Nov. 14: Elsa
Elsa hasn’t met a dog she doesn’t love. She’s a very small Australian Shepherd blend who has been seen playing with the biggest of pit bulls to the smallest of Chihuahuas. She likes everything from puppies to adult dogs and is really most comfortable when she has a canine companion.
Elsa is unique in that she is confident with dogs, but demure and a bit shy with new people. She is looking for a home where her wallflower side can bloom and needs another dog to help her along. She is gentle and loves to be petted. At about 2 years old, she’s a young adult and needs a home that can give her plenty of walks and tons of love.
She’s a very pretty girl, with soft white fur, icy blue eyes and a cute little half-tail that wiggles as fast as it can when she meets a new doggie buddy. If you’re looking for a dog who needs some quiet TLC and some long walks to the park or through the neighborhood, Elsa is one to meet!
Miss Winkles Pet Adoption Center is open from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Tuesday through Sunday at 85 Temperance Ave. just south of Sierra Avenue. All adoptable pets have been spayed or neutered, are current on their vaccinations and microchipped.
Adoption fees are $25 for dogs, cats, kittens and puppies.
Note: the Pet of the Week may no longer be available after press time, but plenty of other adoptable pets are. Visit clovisanimalservices.org/miss-winkles for more information.
