Drive the newest cars at Central California Auto Show next weekend, Nov. 18-20

Brand new vehicles from 18 manufacturers will cruise into the Fresno Convention Center next weekend for the 13th annual Central California Auto Show.

Attendees can explore these 2017 models, experience the latest in car technology and test drive select models around town, said Brett Hedrick of Hedrick’s Chevrolet in Clovis.

The event is sponsored each year by Fresno Clovis New Car Dealers Association, of which Hedrick is secretary-treasurer.

“It’s a no-sale environment,” Hedrick said. “It’s just a show where people can compare cars and look at technology. There will be different displays about new technology, such as electric vehicles and safety items that manufacturers are putting in cars.”

Product specialists will be on hand to answer questions from those in the market for a new car, or who just have an automotive passion.

“Some people are fact-finding for their next car, but it’s also just a great way to spend a few hours with the family,” Hedrick said.

More than 100 cars will be on display, and licensed attendees can choose to test drive and evaluate the newest features on Chrysler, Dodge, FIAT, Jeep, Ram and Toyota vehicles.

The show will be held from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. Friday and Saturday, Nov. 18 and 19, and 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 20, in the Valdez and Expo halls of the Fresno Convention Center, 848 M St. in downtown Fresno. Admission is free and attendees will also be offered a free one-year subscription to Motor Trend Magazine.
