Miss Winkles Pet of the Week of Oct. 24: Norman

Looking for that running/biking/hiking partner to get you out of bed in the morning with a big kiss and a wagging tail? Norman is your guy! He’s a 2-year-old pit bull blend with tons of bouncing energy and an absolute love for people and tennis balls!

Norman has learned a lot of new skills from running on a treadmill to bobbing for his tennis balls in our wading pool. Norman has been in playgroup, and does well after he’s burned off some of his energy (the first thing he likes to do is run, and run FAST).

He prefers large dogs who are very social, since he’s still just learning how to be with other dogs. He loves to play fetch, and chasing or being chased is the best kind of fun. The best thing about Norman’s energy, is once it’s all out and gone, he sleeps like a big snuggly log. He can even keep smiling when he’s napping and always looks like the happy guy he is. If you’re out for adventure, Norman is your kind of pal.

Miss Winkles Pet Adoption Center is open from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Tuesday through Sunday at 85 Temperance Ave. just south of Sierra Avenue. All adoptable pets have been spayed or neutered, are current on their vaccinations and microchipped.

Adoption fees are $25 for dogs, cats, kittens and puppies.

Note: the Pet of the Week may no longer be available after press time, but plenty of other adoptable pets are. Visit clovisanimalservices.org/miss-winkles for more information.
