Out & About: Clovis Night Out at Sierra Meadows Park
Despite triple digit heat Saturday, Sept. 17, thousands headed to Sierra Meadows Park on Temperance and Sierra avenues for the annual Clovis Night Out celebration that promotes neighborhood safety. Emergency and other city vehicles were on display, law enforcement and fire crews mingled with residents, children jumped in bounce houses and bounced down inflatable slides and the crowds enjoyed live music. Local vendors sold boutique items and food during the event, which ended with a fireworks show.
