Free child safety event at Clovis Toyota

Operation Kidsafe is bringing its digital fingerprinting and photo safety program to Clovis to provide families a free child safety kit, including digital fingerprints, a photograph and a family action plan.

The organization said special ink-less digital imagery equipment will be used to take the fingerprints and a printout will be given to parents. No records are maintained, the organization said, as all info will be given to parents to take home.

All children over a year old and special-needs adults are able to benefit from the event, which will run 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Sept. 15 and 16 and 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Sept. 17 at Toyota of Clovis (895 West Shaw Ave.).
