Power outage temporarily disrupts downtown Fresno

A power outage briefly disrupted municipal activities in downtown Fresno on Tuesday afternoon, Pacific Gas & Electric Co. reported.

Spokesman Paul Moreno said 921 customers lost power at 1:03 p.m. The Fresno County District Attorney’s Office and Fresno Police Department were among those affected. Most had their power restored within 20 minutes, while the remaining 100 or so customers regained power just after 3:30 p.m.

Moreno said the outage’s cause is under investigation.
