Two-day closure planned for Hanford Armona Road in Kings County
A two-day lane and shoulder closure is expected to affect traffic at Hanford Armona Road between State Route 43 and Avenue 7 on Thursday in Kings County.
The California High-Speed Rail Authority announced the closure that’s scheduled to begin Thursday and end Friday. Construction hours are scheduled from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. each day.
The closure is part of a construction phase for the high-speed rail between East American Avenue to one mile north of the Tulare-Kern County lines, the rail authority said.
Traffic laws will be in effect, and drivers are asked to drive carefully through construction areas.
