Man dies in crash near Strathmore
The California Highway Patrol is investigating an accident that left one man dead near Strathmore Wednesday.
Sgt. Robert Paskwietz said around 2:35 p.m., a man about 47 years old was driving a 2008 Hyundai south on Highway 65 north of Avenue 196 when his vehicle went off the road and slammed into an antique tractor.
Alcohol is not believed to be a factor in the deadly crash, Sgt. Paskwietz said. No other information was available.
