Tulare County to run active shooter drill next month

Tulare County will hold an active shooter drill from noon to 4 p.m. Aug. 18 at the Visalia Division building.

The county is working with the Tulare County Superior Court, Judicial Court and Tulare County Sheriff’s Office to help identify security gaps and refine emergency procedures, the Sheriff’s Office said.

The Visalia Division building will be closed to the public during the drill. The building is at 221 S. Mooney Blvd.
