Body of apparent drowning victim found at Hume Lake

The Fresno County Sheriff’s dive team recovered a body from Hume Lake, near Kings Canyon National Park, Wednesday morning.

Spokesman Tony Botti said the body, recovered about 9:30 a.m., matches the description of a 20-year-old male student visiting from Taiwan who was reported missing Tuesday. A positive identification has not yet been made.
