3 Tulare County firefighters hospitalized after Exeter fire

Three firefighters from the Tulare County Fire Department were hospitalized with injuries Thursday afternoon after a three-alarm fire in Exeter, said fire Captain Joe Rosa.

Around 4:30 p.m., firefighters responded to the fire at 401 First St. in Exeter. The firefighters suffered heat-related injuries, and two suffered minor burns, Rosa said. The firefighters were taken to the hospital but were expected to be released late Thursday evening.

The investigation of the fire is still ongoing.
