CHP to host car seat check-up in Hanford on July 9

The third annual Car Seat Check-Up event kicks off Saturday, July 9 at the Hanford Fire Station No. 1.

The California Highway Patrol and car seat technicians will be available from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. to make sure car seats are up-to-date and installed properly inside each vehicle. Inspections will take place inside the fire station away from the heat.

Those attending are asked to bring their vehicle, child and car seat the child is currently using.

The fire station is located at 350 W. Grangeville Blvd. in Hanford.
