Fresno police hosting ‘Coffee with a Cop’ Friday
Fresno community members are invited to a southeast Fresno McDonald’s on Friday to have Coffee with a Cop.
The purpose of the event is for the community to build relationships with local law enforcement.
People will have the opportunity to ask questions and learn about what the Fresno Police Department does in neighborhoods.
The Police Department said officers know people may feel they are unapproachable on the street, but Coffee with a Cop breaks down barriers and allows for a relaxed, one-on-one interaction.
The event begins at 6 a.m. at the McDonald’s at Kings Canyon Road and Barton Avenue.
