CEO steps down from Central Valley Community Foundation

Central Valley Community Foundation CEO Hugh Ralston has stepped down, the foundation announced in a news release Thursday.

Former board member David Johnson will serve as interim CEO as the foundation conducts a search for a replacement.

“On behalf of the board, we appreciate the work Hugh did for the foundation and we wish him every success in the future,” foundation board chairman Alan Pierrot said in a statement.

The foundation awarded $8 million in grants, scholarships and awards to local charities in 2015.
