Toddler accidentally run over by father in Fresno

A 2-year-old girl is being evaluated by doctors at Community Regional Medical Center after she was inadvertently run over by her father Wednesday in central Fresno.

The accident occurred in the 3900 block of East Robinson Avenue about 12:30 p.m.

Fresno police Lt . Joe Gomez said the family drove the girl to Saint Agnes Medical Center, where doctors said she appeared to be OK, but they referred her to Community Regional for a computerized tomography, or CT, scan to be sure.
