Fresno County supervisor hosts public safety meeting on Thursday

Fresno County Supervisor Andreas Borgeas will host a community meeting Thursday about law enforcement at the Woodward Park Library.

The meeting, scheduled for 5:30 to 7 p.m., will focus on issues in Fresno County’s 2nd District, which includes northeast Fresno, Fig Garden, Pinedale and part of northwest Clovis.

Fresno Police Chief Jerry Dyer, Fresno County Sheriff Margaret Mims and Fresno County District Attorney Lisa Smittcamp will be on hand to answer questions.

Woodward Park Library is at 944 E. Perrin Ave. in Fresno.
