Visalia fire displaces family of four
An electrical fire caused major damage to a Visalia home but no one was hurt, the Visalia Fire Department said Monday.
The American Red Cross was contacted to help the family of four living at the home.
About 9:37 p.m. June 12, neighbors reported a fire at a home in the 100 block of west Paradise Avenue. The residents were out of the home by the time fire crews arrived.
Firefighters put out the fire in 20 minutes, but damage to the house and contents was estimated at $70,000. Property and contents saved from the fire was estimated at $140,000.
