A family of four in Visalia was displaced after fire erupted in their home around 8 p.m. Friday, the Visalia Fire Department said.
When firefighters arrived at the home on 206 E. Walnut Ave., there were reports of a person inside, but it was later confirmed that everyone had made it out safely. The crews were able to save the family’s dog from the burning home, and it was taken to a local emergency vet hospital, according to the fire department. There were no other injuries reported.
The family is being assisted by the American Red Cross due to the extent of damage to the home.
The cause of the fire is still under investigation.
