Fresno schools, animal shelter win NASCAR race tickets for fundraising

Two schools and an animal shelter in Fresno won four-pack tickets to the NASCAR Toyota/Save Mart 350 Race in Sonoma for their fundraising efforts with Save Mart’s charity-giving program, Shares.

St. Anthony’s School, San Joaquin Memorial High School and Valley Animal Center earned tickets for the June 24-26 racing event.

Powered by eScrip, Shares helps community organizations earn money by encouraging their supporters to shop at Save Mart, Lucky or FoodMaxx stores.

Three percent of purchase funds are directed to a charity once members enroll in the Shares program.

The schools and animal shelter can help raise more funds with their newly-earned NASCAR tickets.

Schools or nonprofits interested in enrolling in the Shares program can sign up online.
