Fresno man wins $822,000 in Mega Millions lottery

A Fresno man is $822,380 richer after he matched five of six numbers in the May 6th Mega Millions draw, the state Lottery announced Thursday.

Sukarndip Bagri bought the winning $1 ticket at the Six Star Food Mart, which is located at 1501 E. Yosemite Ave. in Madera.

The ticket matched the numbers 32-26-14-27 and 36. It only missed the Mega number of 7, lottery officials said.

Bagri declined to be interviewed about his win.
