The Madera County Sheriff’s Office is asking for help in finding 79-year-old Kenneth Close.

According to Close’s wife, at around 11 a.m. Wednesday, he called to say he was going fishing at Lower Chiquito Creek in Madera County and planned to drive down Beasore Road on the way home. His wife hasn’t heard from him since.

Close was driving a 1997 green Chevy pickup with a red door, pulling a trailer. He has a California disabled license plate DP481AG.

Anyone with information is asked to call the sheriff’s office at 559-675-7770.
