Central Fresno intersection has lane closures that may cause delays

Lanes are closed on some central Fresno streets so Pacific Gas & Electric Co. can do utility work, the city of Fresno said.

There are lanes closed on First Street at Sierra Avenue, and westbound traffic on Sierra Avenue is closed as well in that area. There may be traffic delays.

The closures began Thursday and are expected to last until May 19.
