Cal-Fire firefighters out for Fill-the-Boot on May 10 and 12

Cal-Fire’s annual Fill-the-Boot campaign to raise money for the Muscular Dystrophy Association will be held May 10 and 12 at eight intersections throughout Fresno County.

Members of Cal-Fire Fresno-Kings Unit Local 2881 from 16 fire stations will stand on street corners collecting money from passing motorists from 7 a.m. to 9 a.m. and 3p.m. to 5 p.m. Locations include Friant Road and Audubon Drive, Fresno; Jensen and Clovis avenues, Fresno; Academy and McKinley avenues, Sanger; Manning and Mendocino avenues, Parlier; Herndon and Fowler avenues, Clovis; Lincoln and Elm avenues, Easton; 9th and Oller (Highway 180) streets, Mendota; and Highway 198 and Lassen Avenue, Huron.
