Bar association to hold fourth annual Law Day in downtown Fresno

The Fresno County Bar Association will hold the fourth annual Law Day at Courthouse Park event on May 4 in downtown Fresno.

The free event is open to the general public and will provide a forum for citizens to learn about the legal resources and groups that exist to assist in protecting their rights and obtaining justice, board president Marty Oller said.

The event will run from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Activities include a panel discussion by judges and lawyers on local radio and television stations, as well as information booths, to give the public information on the the court system.

“Awareness regarding equity and protection of rights will always be a key concern and our hope is to provide resources that make each easier to understand and obtain,” Oller said.
