Clovis Rodeo Parade enjoys cool, clear skies in Old Town
Cool but clear weather greeted cowgirls, cowboys and spectators who gathered Saturday morning for the 102nd Clovis Rodeo Parade through Old Town Clovis.
More than 150 entries marched, clopped or rode down Pollasky and Clovis avenues under brilliant blue skies, a welcome change after Friday’s blustery and drenching storm swept through the region.
The parade offered bands, equestrian groups, tractors and floats celebrating Clovis’ rural, western roots.
The parade is one of the key events held during the Clovis Rodeo, which runs through Sunday.
