Cellphone waiting area at Fresno airport temporarily moved

The cellphone waiting area at Fresno Yosemite International Airport was moved Thursday to accommodate construction in the area, airport officials said.

Access to the temporary waiting area is located past the airport entrance on the right side of the roadway and marked with orange signage, spokeswoman Vikkie Calderon said. The temporary location is expected to last through August when the employee parking lot and ground transportation facility project is completed.

The free waiting areas accommodate motorists who are expecting arriving passengers, Calderon said. Additional space is available further up the roadway by merging into the far-right lane. The entrance to additional parking is on the right.
