Jiu-jitsu tournament in Clovis to raise money for St. Jude hospital
A jiu-jitsu tournament Saturday at Buchanan High School will raise money for St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
The event will be from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. at 1560 N. Minnewawa Ave. in Clovis.
Royce Gracie Jiu-Jitsu of Fresno will host the eighth annual Grapple for the Cure, which attracts competitors ages 3 to adult from all over California. Each entrant is asked to collect donations for the hospital; last year, the tournament raised $10,000.
For more information, call 559-322-4084. To make donations, visit St. Jude’s website.
