Pedestrian in critical condition after Visalia traffic collision
A Visalia woman had major injuries on April 1 after she was hit by a vehicle while crossing a city street, Visalia police said.
Edna Wilker, 63, was crossing Walnut Avenue around 8:30 p.m. when she was struck by a 2003 Chevy Malibu driven by Janine Salisbury, 55, Visalia police said.
Wilker was transported to Kaweah Delta Medical Center, where she remains in critical condition, police said. Salisbury was not injured in the collision.
Visalia police continue to investigate the cause of the collision.
