Country singer Kelsea Ballerini performs for Dinuba High students

Kelsea Ballerini, a rising star in country music, gave a special concert to Dinuba High School on Tuesday as a reward for students winning a canned-food drive last fall.

The students collected more than 10,000 pounds of canned food that were given to the Open Gate Ministries shelter in Dinuba. The amount was part of 28 tons collected by nine high schools in Tulare County between Nov. 2-24 last year.
