Fresno Convention Center has record year
Fresno Convention and Entertainment Center (FCEC) has had its best year so far with 65 new events, record-breaking attendance and large gross box office sales, the center said.
Some events the center hosted earlier this year are Dancing with the Stars, John Mellencamp, Disney on Ice – Frozen, The Book of Mormon and Judas Priest. In addition to ticketed events, the center has contracted the Future Farmers of America Convention, the 98th American Legion Convention, the Vision Global convention and three other conventions to be held in Fresno.
FCEC is owned by the city of Fresno and includes Selland Arena, Saroyan Theatre, Fresno Convention Center and Valdez Hall.
