High-speed rail announces Kings County road closures
The California High Speed Rail Authority announced closures on some Kings County roads for utility work, the rail authority said.
Lacey Boulevard and Seventh Road between State Route 43 and Seventh Avenue in Hanford will be closed beginning Monday.
The closures are part of a construction project for a 65-mile stretch of high-speed rail being worked on between East American Avenue in Fresno County to north of the Kern and Tulare county line.
Drivers may experience delays due to the closures, but pedestrians can still access the area.
Construction is expected to be completed on Wednesday.
