Man missing after leaving Fresno hospital
A man is missing after he broke a glass door and left Kaiser Hospital in northeast Fresno on Tuesday, Fresno police said.
Dennis Sujai Happawana, 25, was at Kaiser Hospital for a psychiatric evaluation when he became agitated and broke through a glass door around 3:40 a.m., Fresno police said. While at the hospital, he told police he wanted officers to kill him.
Happawana injured his foot in the process and a blood trail was followed to a vacant home near Fresno Street and Alluvial Avenue, Fresno police said. The home was searched and Happawana was not found.
He is around 5-foot-7, around 165 pounds, and has black hair and brown eyes. He also suffers from Asperger’s syndrome.
