Power pole struck near Caruthers

Firefighters put out a power pole fire south of Caruthers Tuesday afternoon after the pole was struck by a farm implement, the Fresno County Fire Department reported.

The crash knocked down power lines as well. The crash took place near Brawley and Swanson avenues.
