A Visalia man suffered major injuries on March 17 after he lost control of his vehicle and drove into an orange grove south of Porterville, the California Highway Patrol said.
Uriel Dominguez-Gutierrez, 21, was driving a 1997 Mitsubishi Eclipse north on Road 192, south of Avenue 80, when his vehicle drifted off the road and into the dirt shoulder around 3:50 p.m., the CHP said.
Dominguez-Gutierrez lost control of the vehicle and collided with an orange tree in a grove along the east side of Road 192, CHP said. He was transported to Kaweah Delta Medical Center with major injuries.
Authorities do not believe alcohol was involved.
