2016 Miss Fresno County crowned Saturday at Tower Theatre
Two winners were crowned at the Miss Fresno County scholarship pageant and Fresno’s Outstanding Teen pageant on Saturday at the Tower Theatre.
Kelsey Schulties, 23, was selected as the 2016 Miss Fresno County and was awarded a $2,000 scholarship and a $1,000 wardrobe. She is a Fresno State senior and an honor student with a 4.0 grade-point average.
Schulties advances to the Miss California pageant at the Saroyan Theatre in June. The winner of that event will compete in the Miss America pageant.
Runners-up included Taylor Coloka, 20, Kaelyn McInnerney, 24, and Bailee Lyles, 20.
Jacqueline Trafton, 15, a Clovis West High School student, was selected as Fresno’s Outstanding Teen 2016 and received a $1,000 scholarship. Jaime Francisco, 16, a University High School student, was named runner-up.
