Visalia man critically injured in motorcycle collision

A Visalia man is in critical condition after a motorcycle collision Sunday, Visalia police said.

Around 6:50 p.m., 33-year-old Kevin Jepson was driving a Yamaha motorcycle east on Walnut Avenue when his motorcycle collided with a Mitsubishi Galant heading north on Pinkham Street, Visalia police said. Alfonso Alvarez, 29, was the driver of the Mitsubishi.

Jepson was taken to Kaweah Delta Medical Center and was listed in critical condition. Alvarez was treated at the hospital and released.

The cause of the accident is being investigated.
